“I find inspiration in everything I see but I don’t have any style idols. Most of my clothes are second hand. I don’t really have one style but like to mix and match.”

Bit of an odd request, this one...
Any tips for the larger gentleman? I'm cursed with being tall (6'3"), broad and oddly-proportioned (32" inside leg, 36" waist, 44" chest). Playing rugby is enjoyable but it makes things tricky when everything you see with regards to men's fashion seems to be designed for whippets!
Because my torso is so long compared to my legs for my height, a lot of clothing leaves me looking slightly bizarre.
I'd normally go for:
Jeans (Levi Vintage 1947 or APC New Standard - anything slimmer struggles with my calves and thighs although I have considered having my APCs tapered by an inch or so),
Or decently-cut trousers; I have some nice pairs from Lagerfeld, YMC, Norse Projects et cetera,
Sneakers or decent brogues (Grenson, Loake or Trickers),
Classic shirting; I avoid modern wide-cut collars and try to stay subdued with regards to colours. Layered over a complementary t-shirt and often under a sweater.
My concern is that having such a broad chest may too-easily lead to me looking freakishly top-heavy...
What would you suggest?!
Thanks in advance!

Style seems to be limited by body shape, but we definitely don’t think so! With just a few tricks & tips, men with broad shoulders & chests can minimize their size while still accenting their best features.
What would you recommend to be worn with a blue check cardigan?

You could treat the checkers like a bold pattern, so there are a few options for wearing your cardigan!
